Across financial services, government, consulting, higher education, and other complex environments, Dr. William Epps Jr. has seen firsthand how leadership, strategy, culture, operations, and accountability influence organizational performance. Even the strongest strategy can struggle when the organization is not aligned around execution.
The Alignment Project was created to help leaders close that gap. The firm's approach brings together executive experience, evidence-based strategy, and a people-centered perspective to help organizations create clarity, strengthen alignment, build capability, and advance priorities.

Dr. William Epps Jr. is an executive leader, researcher, author, and educator with nearly 20 years of experience leading teams, strengthening operations, and supporting complex organizational transformation.
His work spans business operations, enterprise transformation, governance, strategic execution, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development, with a focus on translating strategy into measurable results.
Drawing on experience across financial services, government, consulting, and higher education, Dr. Epps brings a cross-sector perspective to helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen performance, and align people, processes, and priorities.
As Founder and Principal Consultant of The Alignment Project, he partners with executives and organizations to strengthen organizational effectiveness, execute strategic priorities, develop leaders, and build the capabilities necessary for sustainable growth and performance.
